3. Care, cleaning and maintenance
Tip!
Position newspaper or the like to protect the floor against fly ash before opening the combustion
chamber door.
Also clean the cladding and the keyboard foil with a moist cloth as needed. In the event of heavy soiling, use soapy
water or diluted suds (do not use strong cleaners or sharp cleaning instruments).

3.3 Care of the front window, cladding and keyboard foil
The front window is equipped with a special back ventilation. This ensures that the window remains clean for a rela-
tively long time. Nevertheless, light deposits formed by ash constituents will form on the inside of the glass window
(inside window). This causes the viewing window to be obscured. This obscuring has no effect whatsoever on the
quality of combustion. The coating can be removed with the door open using water and a cleaning cloth when the
glass is cold. If the glass window is very dirty, moisten the cleaning cloth and dip it in the ash first, then clean.
