3. Care, cleaning and maintenance
3.7 FireWIN reserve supply container
It is necessary to clean the reserve supply container if too much dust has collected on the sides or at the opening
above the auger, or there are foreign bodies in the reserve supply container. In order to be able to check this, there
must not be any pellets in the reserve supply container. Therefore, allow the pellets in the reserve supply con-
tainer to be consumed or, in the case of FireWIN with automated feed, switch off the feed on the day before (see
section 2.8.1.3 Setting the feed operating mode).
Cleaning:
FireWIN without fully automated pellet feed:
Switch off the FireWIN with the ON/OFF button on the InfoWINplus (Fig. 137) and wait until the display has gone out.
Close the glass cover – danger of damage Fold open the cover of the reserve supply container (Fig. 138) and
vacuum out the pellets, dust or foreign bodies through the mesh using a vacuum cleaner.

FireWIN with fully automated pellet feed:
Switch off the FireWIN with the ON/OFF button on the InfoWINplus (Fig. 139) and wait until the display has gone out.
Remove the cover at the front – Fig. 140.

Remove the screw on the front of the reserve supply container cover (Fig. 141), close the glass cover – danger of
damage – and open the reserve supply container cover – Fig. 142.
