9.7.1 Possible causes for tripping the Motor Protection Relay
§ Pump defective or stuck
§ Phase missing
§ Hose kinked or tool holes plugged
§ Motor Protection Relay defective
The trip current should be set approximately 0.1A to 0.2A higher than what is
given on the nameplate of the pump motor.
