LED Clamp Behavior
Circumstance Clamp Color and Behavior
When ECU is powered up. The clamps LEDs will be green.
(Test Mode).
FrameShop startup. All clamp LEDs should turn
green.
Designing a mat. All clamp LEDs remain green.
Going to the Cut Preview screen. FrameShop verifies if the head
will hit a clamp. If the head will
traverse over a clamp, the LED
will turn red irrespective of the
clamp position. All other LEDs
will be green.
When the Cut button is pressed, or
the green Cut button on the CMC is
pressed.
The clamps are energized and
the position of the sensor is
read. If the sensor indicates that
the clamp is still engaged, then
that clamp's LED will flash red.
FrameShop verifies a second time
if the head will hit a clamp. Clamp is
rotated out of the cut area.
The flashing will cease and the
LED will turn green when the
user rotates the clamp to the
safe position.
After cutting the mat. The clamp LEDs will stay green.
Aborting a cut. If the user aborts the cut, the
LEDs will stay green.
User cancels/exits the Cut Preview
screen.
The LEDs will be set to green.
User cancels the cut during the cut. The LEDs will be set to green.
User clicks Cut and a clamp is not
engaged.
If the user hits cut and a clamp
is not engaged and it should be,
the clamp LED will flash green.
