Colors are blurry or there is white
area around objects.
Color-to-color alignment is
not correct.
Perform an automatic color registration
adjustment. For details, see Color

Blotchy or mottled images.
The paper is too light or too thin.
Compensate for the paper thickness. For
details, see Adjusting Paper Type on
page 158.
The bias transfer voltage
needs to be adjusted for the
paper type.
Adjust the bias transfer roller. For details,
see Adjusting the Bias Transfer Roller on
page 158.
The fuser needs to be adjusted
for the paper type.
Adjust the fuser. For details, see Adjusting
the Fuser on page 158.
Paper curls or frequent jams in
the rear cover.
Bias transfer roller needs to be
refreshed.
