OIL FILTER COMPONENTS AND
FUNCTIONS
The oil filter assembly is installed on top of the
intercooler.
It consists of a full flow oil filter and a bypass oil
filter. Both the full flow oil filter and bypass oil filter
have paper type components. These filters are
easy to remove.
To prevent seizure in the event of the filter clogging,
a bypass circuit is provided.
