3. Wrap tape around the handlebar and mark the
parting line of the front master cylinder to
record its location.
4. Remove the front master cylinder clamp bolts
(x2) securing the master cylinder assembly to
the handlebar. Tool: 5mm hex wrench.
Torque: 8 lb-ft (11 Nm).
Note: hold front brake master cylinder while
removing clamp bolts.
5. Remove the front master cylinder.
Installation
1. Installation is the reverse of the removal
procedure, except for the following:
2. Perform brake bleeding procedure. See Brake
Bleeding Procedure (Front), page 10.5.
