Brake Pads (Front)
CAUTION: Do not operate the brake lever while
the master cylinder, and or brake caliper(s) is/
are removed or while the brake system is
disassembled.
Tools Required (includes tools required for
parent jobs):
• T25
Removal
1. Remove brake caliper pin-bolt clips (x2).
2. Remove brake caliper pin bolts (x2). Tool: T25.
Torque: 6 lb-ft (8 Nm).
3. Remove brake pad anti-rattle spring plate.
4. Remove brake pads.
Installation
1. Installation is the reverse of the removal
procedure, with the exception of the following:
2. The anti-rattle clip is installed with the arrow
pointing up.
