POLICY OF CORRECT USE FOR PROXIMA POWER TRACTORS
STOPPING THE TRACTOR AND ACCELERATING IT AGAIN
Under ordinary operating conditions stop the tractor smoothly. Shortly before coming to a complete stop depress the
clutch pedal and stop the tractor with the brake pedal.
Move the reverse lever under the steering wheel to the neutral (N) position.
Release the clutch pedal completely.
To accelerate the tractor again, follow the instructions under the paragraph Accelerating the tractor in ordinary opera-
tion – the function of automatic acceleration.
GEAR SHIFTING
To shift the gears while the tractor is in motion, operate the engine clutch with the red clutch button on the gear lever.
While shifting, press and hold the red clutch button on the gear lever, release the gas pedal, unshift the gear, shift a differ-
ent gear, release the red button and then increase the rotation of the engine.
If allowed by operating conditions, use the function of power shift preset.
THE FUNCTION OF POWER SHIFT PRESET
The system of automatic gear change of multiplier is switched on by pre-selection multiplier controller on dashboard. If the con-
troller of multiplier pre-selection is “on” (the control on controller is lit), the gears of multiplier are shifted automatically depending
on the revolution of engine based on predefined values (engine revolutions).
