IP. IP address of the NTP server.
Type. This sets the type of messages to be sent to the NTP server. The messages
can be individual (unicast) or collective (manycast).
Minpoll. Minimum time between requests. The parameter is the exponent of the
power of 2 that corresponds to the minimum period.
Maxpoll. Maximum time between requests. The parameter is the exponent of the
power of 2 that corresponds to the maximum period.
Authentication Enable. This sets whether messages should be sent with
authentication information.
Authentication Key. If the previous option is enabled it determines which of the
authentication keys defined in the previous block is used to authenticate the
message.
Low Traffic. Minimizes the use of the bandwidth that is used for the
synchronization messages.
There is an additional parameter not dependent on the configuration of NTP servers that
sets whether broadcast NTP-type messages will be accepted.
Accept broadcast. Enables the acceptance of NTP messages that are received
with broadcast address.
The SNTP client only supports the configuration of a server, and the necessary parameters are:
IP. IP address of the NTP server.
Poll. This sets the period of generation of synchronization messages. Valid values
are 1 to 60.
Units. Time unit for the period of generation of synchronization messages. It can
be minutes or hours.
Authentication Enable. This sets whether messages should be sent with
authentication information.
Authentication Key. If the previous option is enabled it determines which of the
authentication keys defined in the previous block is used to authenticate the
message.
Timeout. Maximum waiting period for receiving response to transmitted
synchronization messages. Valid values are 1 to 15 seconds.
