I n step 2 , you add another wireless client to the network. You know t hat Clie nt 1 supports registrar
m ode, but it is bett er t o use AP1 for the WPS handshake wit h t he new client since you m ust
connect to the access point anyway in order to use t he net work. I n t his case, AP1 m ust be t he
registrar, since it is configured ( it already has secur ity inform ation for the network) . AP1 supplies
the existing security inform ation t o Clie nt 2 .
