6.2.1 Add/Edit Internet Connection
Click Add n ew W AN I nt e r f ace in the Broadba nd screen or the Edit icon next t o an exist ing WAN
interface t o configure a WAN connection. The screen varies depending on t he interface type, m ode,
encapsulat ion, and I Pv6/ I Pv4 m ode you select .
6.2.1.1 Routing Mode
Use Rout ing m ode if your I SP give you one I P address only and you want m ultiple com put ers to
share an I nternet account.
The following exam ple screen displays when you select t he ADSL over ATM connect ion t ype,
Rout ing m ode, and PPPoE encapsulation. The screen varies when you select ot her int erface type,
encapsulat ion, and I Pv6/ I Pv4 m ode.

MLD Pr oxy This shows whether Mult icast Listener Discovery ( MLD) is activated or not for t his
connection. MLD is not available when the connect ion uses t he bridging service.
Modify Click the Edit icon to configur e t he WAN connect ion.
Click the D e let e icon to remove t he WAN connect ion.
