Traffic Policing
Traffic policing is the lim iting of t he input or output transm ission rat e of a class of traffic on t he
basis of user- defined crit eria. Traffic policing m et hods m easure traffic flows against user-defined
crit eria and identify it as eit her conform ing, exceeding or violating the criteria.
The Device suppor t s t hree incom ing traffic m etering algorit hm s: Token Bucket Filt er (TBF) , Single
Rat e Two Color Maker ( srTCM) , and Two Rat e Two Color Marker (t rTCM) . You can specify actions
which are perform ed on the colored packet s. See
