Troubleshooting

problem s are divided into the following categories.

Power, Hardware Connect ions, and LEDs
• Device Access and Login

36.1 Power, Hardware Connections, and LEDs
The Device does not t urn on. None of the LEDs turn on.
1 Make sure t he Device is turned on.
2 Make sure you are using t he power adapt or or cord included wit h t he Device.
3 Make sure t he power adaptor or cord is connected t o the Device and plugged in to an appropriat e
power source. Make sure the power source is turned on.
4 Turn t he Device off and on.
5 I f t he problem continues, contact the vendor.
One of the LEDs does not behave as expect ed.
1 Make sure you underst and t he norm al behavior of the LED. See Sect ion 1.5 on page 20.
2 Check t he hardware connect ions.
3 I nspect your cables for dam age. Cont act the vendor t o r eplace any dam aged cables.
4 Turn t he Device off and on.
