4.11 Using the Print Server Feature
The Device allows you to share a USB print er on your LAN. You can do t his by connecting a USB
printer to one of the USB ports on the Device and t hen adding t he print er on t he com puters
connected t o your net work.

Configure a TCP/IP Printer Port
This exam ple shows how you can configure a TCP/ I P printer port. This exam ple is done using the
Windows 2000 Professional operating system . Som e m enu item s m ay look different on your
operating system . The TCP/ I P port m ust be configured with the I P address of t he Device and m ust
use t he RAW protocol t o com m unicate wit h t he print er. Consult your operat ing system s
docum ent at ion for instruct ions on how t o do t his or follow the inst ruct ions below if you have a
Windows 2000/ XP operating system .
