11.3 The Applications Screen
This screen provides a sum m ary of all NAT applications and t heir configuration. I n addition, t his
screen allows you to create new applicat ions and/ or rem ove exist ing ones.
To access this screen, click N e t w ork Set t ing > N AT > Applicat ions. The following screen
appears.

The following t able describes t he labels in t his screen.
End Port Enter the last port of t he original dest inat ion port range.
To forward only one port, ent er t he port num ber in the St a r t Port field above and then
ent er it again in t his field.
To forward a series of port s, enter t he last port num ber in a ser ies t hat begins wit h t h e por t
num ber in the St a r t Port field above.

St art Port
This shows t he port num ber t o which you want the Dev ice to t ranslat e t he incom ing port .
For a range of ports, ent er the first num ber of t he range to w hich you want the incom ing
ports translated.

Por t
This shows the last port of the t ranslated port range.
Server I P
Address
Enter the inside I P address of t he virtual ser ver here.
Protocol
Select the pr ot ocol supported by t his virtual server. Choices are TCP, UD P, or TCP/ UDP.
OK Click OK t o save your changes.
Cancel Click Ca ncel to exit t his screen without saving.

Application

This field shows t he t ype of application that the service forwards.
WAN I nterface This field shows t he WAN interface t hrough which the service is forwarded.

This field displays the destinat ion I P address for the ser vice.
Modify Click t he Dele t e icon to delet e t he rule.
