9.2 The Routing Screen
Use t his screen to view and configure t he stat ic rout e rules on t he Device. Click N et w ork Se t t ing
> Rout ing > St a t ic Rout e t o open the following scr een.

The following t able describes t he labels in t his screen.

Add new static
rout e
Click this to configure a new st at ic rout e.
# This is t he index num ber of t he ent ry.
St atus This field displays whether t he st at ic rout e is act ive or not . A yellow bulb signifies that t his
route is active. A gray bulb signifies t hat t his route is not active.
Nam e This is t he name t hat describes or ident ifies this route.
Destination I P This parameter specifies the I P network address of the final dest ination. Routing is always
based on network num ber.
Subnet Mask This parameter specifies the I P network subnet m ask of the final dest ination.
Gateway This is the I P address of t he gateway. The gateway is a router or switch on the sam e
network segm ent as t he device's LAN or WAN port . The gateway helps forward packet s t o
their dest inations.
I nt erface This is t he WAN int erface used for this st at ic rout e.
Modify Click t he Edit icon to edit t he static route on the Device.
Click the D e lete icon t o rem ove a static route from the Device. A window displays asking
you t o confirm that you want t o delet e the route.
