Restore Configuration
Rest ore Configurat ion allows you t o upload a new or previously saved configurat ion file from your
com puter to your Device.
Do not turn off the Device while configuration file upload is in progress.
After the Device configuration has been rest ored successfully, the login screen appears. Login again
to rest art t he Device.
The Device aut om at ically rest art s in t his tim e causing a tem porary net work disconnect. I n som e
operating system s, you m ay see t he following icon on your desktop.

I f you uploaded t he default configuration file you m ay need t o change t he I P addr ess of your
com puter to be in the sam e subnet as t hat of the default device I P addr ess (192.168.1.1). See
Appendix A on page 297 for details on how to set up your com put er ’s I P address.
I f t he upload was not successful, the following screen will appear. Click OK t o go back to the
Configura t ion screen.
