The following table describes the labels in this screen.
5.5 Static DHCP Screen
You can assign IP addresses on the LAN to specific individual computers based on their MAC
addresses. Use this screen to view, add or remove a static DHCP entry. To access this screen, click
Network > DHCP > Static DHCP.

LABEL DESCRIPTION
DHCP Mode Select what type of DHCP service the WAH7003 provides to the network. Choices are:
None - the WAH7003 does not provide any DHCP services. There is already a DHCP
server on the network.
Server - the WAH7003 assigns IP addresses and provides subnet mask, gateway, and
DNS server information to the network. The WAH7003 is the DHCP server for the
network.
Start IP The WAH7003 is pre-configured with a pool of 100 IP addresses starting from
192.168.0.100 to 192.168.0.199.
This field specifies the first of the contiguous addresses in the IP address pool.
End IP This field specifies the last of the contiguous addresses in the IP address pool.
Lease Time Specify how long (in seconds) each computer can use the information (especially the IP
address) before it has to request the information again.
Apply Click this button to save your changes back to the WAH7003.
