6.9 Load the extruders
6.9.1 Load the filament
Before loading a reel, the end of the filament must be prepared to prevent damage to the
delivery tubes. This procedure is essential to prevent any damage to the delivery tubes,
which may in turn block a nozzle.
 Cut the end of the filament at 45° from both sides to produce a point.
 Using sandpaper, remove all sharp edges. The tip should feel smooth.
