8.1 Basic Templates
8.1.1 Single Loop / Single Loop with Remote Setpoint
This template provides basic feedback control using three-term PID or On/Off control. The controller output
is calculated from the difference between the process variable and the control setpoint. The control setpoint
can be a fixed value entered by the user (Local setpoint) or an input from a remote source (remote setpoint).
Notes.
 Input assignments can be changed in Device Setup / Custom Config – see page 36.
 Output assignments can be changed in Input / Output configuration – see page 42.
