Jogging the robot to zero position

Turn on the electric power to the robot.1
If the robot is not connected to the controller,
power must be supplied to the connector R1.MP
according to Supplying power to connector R1.MP
on page 66.

Jog all axes to zero position.2

Turn off all:
electric power supply
hydraulic pressure supply
air pressure supply
to the robot, before entering the safeguarded
space.

Concluding procedure

For robots with protection type Clean Room:1
Clean and paint the joints that have been opened.
See Cut the paint or surface on the robot before
replacing parts on page 145.
Note
After all repair work, wipe the Clean Room robot
free from particles with spirit on a lint free cloth.
Calibration is detailed in section
Calibration on page 713.
Recalibrate the robot.2
