X2: External power supply for the control unit (optional)
An external +24 V, 1 A power supply for the control board can be connected to
terminal block X2. Using an external supply is recommended if:
• the application requires fast start after co
nnecting the drive to the main input
supply.
• fieldbus communication is required when the main input supply is disconnected.
SW1 linear switches - startup functions
The linear switches are read once at startup.
1: Selects normal IP address configuration, or a fixed IP address. The fixed IP
a
ddress (192.168.0.1) allows the drive to be accessed if the software assigned IP
address is not known.

2: Selects normal operation or firmware recovery mode. Recovery mode allows new
firmware and other configuration files to be downloaded. The fixed IP address
192.168.0.1 is enabled and the symbol is displayed. Mint WorkBench allows you to
update firmware and view the file system.
