8.3.7.2 Submenu 77 Email Service
The submenu contains parameters for configuring for the email notification service for power
quality and system events.
Note: This menu is only visible with Operator or Tech login
Sets the IP address of an SMTP server.
Any valid IPv4 formatted IP address.
Enter the IP address of the SMTP server
Displays the running status of the Email Notification Service
Running - The service is running correctly
Stopped - The service is installed but is not enabled
Empty status/blank string - The service is not installed
This can be used for troubleshooting problems that may arise while configuring the
Email Notification Service.
Info: A low level information only status event.
Notice: An important status event key to the operation of the service.
Error: This indicates an important failure that should not normally occur.
Sets the Email address to send power quality and system event notifications to
customer.
Any valid email address that the email server will except
Allows operator to enter notes as required.
Allows operator to enter notes as required.
Allows operator to configure and test the PQ event email notifications.
7780 Email Address: Destination email address for the PQ event email notification to
be sent to
7782 Force Email: Allows user to test the PQ event email notification service when
set to true. An email will be sent out using the email server
settings and the email address entered in 7780. Allow up to a
couple minutes for the email to be sent.
7783 Enable: When set to true, this enables PQ event email notifications to be
sent to the operator.
