10.6 Loading the system data
1. Switch on the power supply.
The LCD display shows the following message during startup
process:
System Startup
Processing
During this time the transmitter loads sensor data and
transmitter settings such as flow range, damping and pulse
width from the SensorMemory

2. The process display is shown once startup process is
completed.
3. The flowmeter is ready for operation with settings as
received from the factory.
To change the settings, refer to chapter "Parameterization
of the device" on page 32.
NOTE
Check and make sure that the parameter settings are
correct.
1) The SensorMemory is a pluggable data memory. It is located on the rear side of
the transmitter electronic.
10.7 Returning devices
Use the original packaging or a secure transport container of
an appropriate type if you need to return the device for repair
or recalibration purposes. Fill out the return form (see the
Appendix) and include this with the device.
According to the EU Directive governing hazardous materials,
the owner of hazardous waste is responsible for its disposal or
must observe the following regulations for shipping purposes:
All devices delivered to ABB must be free from any hazardous
materials (acids, alkalis, solvents, etc.).
