PREPARING TO INSTALL THE UNIT
Spacing Requirements
Install the unit in a vertical orientation to ensure that thyristors attached to heat sinks
are adequately ventilated. If you intend to mount this unit in a cabinet, ensure that the
cabinet itself is adequately ventilated, and that the following requirements are met.
• The minimum distance between the bottom of the unit and the bottom of the
cabinet or any other object is 100 mm (4″).
• The minimum distance between the top of the unit and the top of the cabinet or
any other object is 150 mm (6″).
• The minimum distance between the top of the unit and the bottom of another
unit is 150 mm (6″).
• Units may be installed side-by-side with no intervening distance.
• Ensure that the unit is not exposed to sources of heat.
