2.5.11 Voltage Disturbance Limit
In SET-UP,pressthe
buttonvetimes:
• “dISt” appearsinthesmalldisplay.
• “003U”(ashing)appearsinthemaindisplay.
• Modifythisvalueifnecessaryusingthe
button(possiblechoice
between:0.10-0.20-0.03).
NOTE: This adjustment provides the best compromise between the measure-
ment build-up time and the presence of external interference voltages (§ 4.2).
Ifnointerferencevoltageispresent,choose0.03toobtainarapidmeasurement
build-uptime.
Example: If an insulation measurement is performed at a test voltage of 5000V and the
limit is set to 0.10, it will be possible to perform a correct measurement with the presence
of an external interference voltage ≤500V, to the detriment of a longer measurement
build-up time.
2.5.12 Automatic Measuring Range
In SET-UP,pressthe
buttonsixtimes:
• “rAnG” appearsinthesmalldisplay.
• “Auto”appearsinthemaindisplay.

NOTE: The fixed measurement ranges correspond to the current ranges of the
following measurements:
1:50pAto200nA(>500GΩ)
2:150nAto50µA(500KΩto500GΩ)
3:30µAto3mA(<500KΩ)
Thechoiceof a xedmeasurementrange optimizes themeasurementbuild-up
timeforaknownvalueofinsulationresistance.
Example: Choice of range 1 for a measurement greater than 500GΩ.
Note: Inmostcases, “Auto”shouldbeselected.
