factorysettings.
• Set Clock:Programsthecomputer’stimeanddateintothe
congurationofthemegohmmeter.
• Clear Memory:Erasesallcontentsinallmemorylocationsinthe
megohmmeter.
• Download:Retrievesthestoreddatafromallmemorylocationswithin
themegohmmeterforuseonthecomputer’sdiskdrivememory.
OncealleldsintheSetupdialogboxhavebeencongured,itisrecommended
thatyouperformthefollowingsteps.
1. ClickontheSave button
2. Nameandsavethele.
3. ClickontheWritebuttontocongurethemegohmmeter.
4. ClickontheClose buttontoexitSetupandopentheControlPanel.
NOTE: While connected, both the DataView
®
and Megohmmeter windows are
open. They have similar main menu options, so you need to be aware of which
window you are working in.
You can tell which window you are working in by looking at the top left corner of
the active window. It will either display “DataView” or “Megohmmeter”.
You can toggle between both windows via the Windows taskbar at the bottom of
your screen.
7.3.2 Running the Test
Afterconguringtheinstrument(see§7.3.1),theControlPanelwillautomatically
open.TheControlPanelisusedtoinitiateatimedtestfromthecomputer.
TheControlPaneldialogboxconsistsofvecommandbuttons:
• Start:Thisbuttonbeginsatimedtest.
• Clear Display:Clearsthestatisticaldata,onthelowerleftsideofthe
screen,andthegraph,ontherightsideofthescreen.
• Save to Disk:Savesthecurrentdatatoaleinthecomputer.
