This chapter gives step-by-step instructions on setting up the analytical
system and the preparative system in the Automated Purification software.
In order to perform purification runs, an analytical and a preparative system
need to be defined. An analytical system is either part of a separate analytical
instrument or part of a combined analytical and preparative instrument. Here,
the meaning of a system is the relevant parameters in the purification
workflow, which comprise both instrument configuration and operating
parameters. These parameters are mandatory for the automatic purification
run calculations.
