Introduction to Maintenance and Repair
Simple Repairs
Simple Repairs - Maintenance
The micro vacuum degasser is designed for easy repair. The most frequent
repairs such as exchanging power fuses and status light pipes can be
performed by the user, but require opening the main cover of the micro
vacuum degasser.
Exchanging Internal Parts - Repairs
Most of the repairs require exchange of defective internal parts. Exchange
of these parts requires removing the micro vacuum degasser from the
stack, removing the covers, and disassembling the micro vacuum degasser.
The security lever at the power input socket prevents that the degasser
cover is taken off when line power is still connected.
