Miscellaneous Configuration Settings
Radix Character
This feature is available from the front panel only.
The multimeter can display the radix character (decimal point) as a period
or a comma.
• The factory (default) setting is PERIOD.
• The radix character setting is stored in non–volatile memory.
• To change the radix character: Press to display UTILITY MENU,
and press as needed until MISC SETTINGS is displayed. Press as
needed to display RADIX CHAR, press or as needed to select PERIOD
or COMMA, and press . Then step through or exit the configuration
menu.
Thousands Separator
The multimeter can display front panel readings with or without a comma
(thousands seperator) delimiting the first set of 3 digits left of the radix
character.
• The factory (default) setting is ON.
• Front Panel Operation: Press to display UTILITY MENU, and
press as needed until MISC SETTINGS is displayed. Press as
needed to display THOUSAND SEP, press or to select OFF or ON, and
press . Then step through or exit the configuration menu.
