Multimeter State Storage
The current multimeter state, including all settings for measurement 
configuration, math operations, triggering operations, system operations 
and I/O configuration, can be saved in one of five system memory states, 
and subsequently recalled. Store State 0 retains the multimeter 
configuration at power down. Store States 1 through 4 are available for 
storing other configurations.
• Front Panel Operation: To store the current multimeter state, press 
.  UTILITY MENU will be displayed. Press   as needed to 
select  STORE/RECALL, and press  . Select STORE, and press  . STORE 
STATE will be displayed on the secondary display line. Press   as 
needed to select  1: STATE_1,  2: STATE_2,  3: STATE_3, or 4:STATE_4,  and 
press  .  CHANGE NAME will be displayed, along with the current state 
name on the secondary display line. Use the navigation keypad to enter 
a name of your choice for the selected multimeter state, up to twelve 
characters in length, and press  . STATE STORED will be displayed 
briefly.
To  recall any of the five stored multimeter states, enter the STORE/RECALL 
level of the UTILITY MENU. Press   as needed to select RECALL, and press 
. RECALL STATE will be displayed, along with any stored states, on the 
second display line. Press   as needed to select a stored state, and 
press  .  STATE RECALLED will be displayed briefly.
To  name any manually stored state (1 through 4), enter the STORE/RECALL 
level of the UTILITY MENU. Press   as needed to select RENAME, and press 
. RENAME STATE will be displayed, along with any stored states, on the 
second display line. Press   as needed to select a stored state, and 
press  .  CHANGE NAME will be displayed. Use the navigation keypad to 
change the name of the selected state, up to 8 alphanumeric characters. 
CHANGE SAVED will be displayed briefly.
To  delete any manually stored state (1 through 4), enter the STORE/RECALL 
level of the UTILITY MENU. Press   as needed to select DELETE, and press 
. DELETE STATE will be displayed, along with any stored states, on the 
second display line. Press   as needed to select a stored state, and 
press  .  STATE DELETED will be displayed briefly.
