To set up the source rtn loss test
Performance Test only
This test verifies that the Agilent 89410A meets its source specification for
return loss. In this test, a spectrum analyzer with a tracking generator is
connected to a directional bridge. A reference measurement is made with
the load port of the directional bridge open. The load port is then connected
to the 89410A’s source and measurements are made for selected attenuator
settings. This test measures both 50 and 75
Ω output impedances. The
spectrum analyzer is set for a 100 kHz to 10 MHz frequency range.
