6. Replacement Procedure
A27 HDD (Hard Disk Drive) Replacement
Tools Required
• TORX screwdriver, T10, T15, and T20
• Pozidriv screwdriver, pt size #2 (medium)
Removal Procedure
Refer to Figure 6-3 for this procedure.
Step 1. Remove the outer cover as described in “Outer Cover Removal” on page 166.
Step 2. If the PCI angle (item 4) is attached, remove the four TORX T10 screws (item 3) and
remove the PCI angle.
Step 3. Remove the four TORX T10 screws (item 1) fastening the A27 HDD assembly.
Step 4. Disconnect the power supply cable from the HDD.
Step 5. Disconnect the flat cable from the HDD.
Step 6. Lift the HDD assembly.
Step 7. Remove the four screws (item 2) fastening the A27 HDD.
