2 Making Measurements
Measuring Voltage
The meter offers true- RMS readings for AC measurements
that are accurate for sine waves, square waves, triangle
waves, staircase waves and other waveforms without any DC
offset.
For AC with DC offset, use AC + DC measurement on
or rotary switch location. This applies only to
U1252A.
Measuring AC voltage
6 Set the rotary switch to , or .
7 Connect the red and black test leads to the input
terminals V.mV and COM respectively.
8 Alternatively, press to display frequency on
secondary display.
9 Probe the test points and read the display.
Ensure that the terminal connections are correct for that particular
measurement before proceeding with the measurement. To avoid
damaging the device, do not exceed the input limit.
