8.2 ANET Rugged Housing Variant
Hardware Installation
Following, the hardware installation for a ‘rugged’ module is described.
8.2.1 Connectors
The external frontend of the ANET-429 consists of the following connectors:
1) ARINC429 Frontend Connector one 26-pin DSUB connector
2) Spare / (variant dependent extra signals)
3) AUX Connector (Trigger-, Discrete-, IRIG-I/O)
Auxiliary 15-pin High Density DSUB connector for the Trigger Input/Output
signals, IRIG B Input/ Output for multi-channel time Synchronisation and
eight Discrete Input/ Output signals.
4) USB Type A host connector e.g. for connecting an external storage device
or an optional WLAN stick
5) Ethernet
RJ45 Ethernet plug, for connecting the ANET-MxAy with a Network / Host
6) Power and Control Connector
Power Input, Emergency- (Maintenance-) Reset, Power-Up/-Down Control
