Safety Approval for DC Systems
When the system is equipped with an AC rectifier, the rectifier must have SCC-accredited lab
approval. In addition, low-voltage DC outputs must meet CSA C22.2 No. 60950-1 SELV
requirements. High-voltage DC sources must meet CSA C22.2 No. 60950-1 hazardous
voltage secondary source requirements.
