Overview of the 7705 SAR-A
The 7705 SAR-A chassis is designed to transport all types of traffic from a mobile cell site to
a higher point of presence or to a mobile telephone switching office, over a packet-switched
network.
There are two variants of the 7705 SAR-A chassis:
• 12 Ethernet ports and 8 T1/E1 ports (3HE06797AA)
• 12 Ethernet ports and no T1/E1 ports (3HE06796AA)
