Default Configuration

User Guidelines
For any DHCP snooping configuration to take effect, DHCP snooping must be
globally enable. DHCP snooping is not active until you enable snooping on a
VLAN by using the ip dhcp snooping vlan global configuration command.
Example
The following example globally enables DHCP snooping.
ip dhcp snooping vlan
The ip dhcp snooping vlan Global Configuration mode command enables DHCP
snooping on a VLAN. To disable DHCP snooping on a VLAN, use the no form of this
command.
Syntax
ip dhcp snooping vlan vlan-id
no ip dhcp snooping vlan vlan-id
Parameters
• vlan-id — Specifies the VLAN ID.
