Setting and Releasing the Parking Brake
To set parking brake:
1. Stand on the operator’s platform.
2. Place right foot on brake pedal (1) and stand on the pedal so it depresses to the lowest point.
3. Continue standing on the pedal and press down and hold the parking lock knob (2).
4. Remove right foot off the brake pedal (1). Remove right hand from parking lock knob. The parking
brake is now set.
To release parking brake:
1. Stand on the operator’s platform.
2. Place right foot on brake pedal (1) and stand on the pedal so it depresses to the lowest point. When
the pedal is depressed fully the parking brake detent rod will disengage and the parking lock knob (2)
will return to its up position.
3. Remove right foot from brake pedal(1). The parking brake is now released.
