Extension Spring Repair Kit (Consists of: Extension Spring, 1/4” NC Eye Bolt, 1/4” USS Flat Washer, 1/4” NC

*Assembly Note for Extension Spring Repair Kit:
1. Adjust the Eye Bolt so the length of the Extension Spring is 4-15/16” from the outside edges of the
end Spring Loops when the Transmission Shift Bar, item 13, is in the NEUTRAL position (againstthe
Neutral Stop Bolt, item 17) as shown in the assembly drawing.
2. Then turn the Position the “Eye” of the Eye Bolt to line to with the top Spring Loop as shown in the
assembly drawing.
3. After completion of steps 1-2, hold the Eye Bolt position and tighten the” NC Nylock Lock Nut to 80
in.lbs
