to ADC4 inputs, and a radio button allows selection of two trigger modes, as
follows.
Internal trigger (1kHz)
A conversion is performed on ADC1, ADC2, ADC3 and ADC4 every 1 ms, with the
results being displayed above and being available via the computer interfaces.
External trigger (1kHz)
A conversion is performed on ADC1, ADC2, ADC3 and ADC4 on receipt of a rising
edge at the TTL ADC TRIG IN connector on the rear panel on the instrument. The
maximum trigger rate is 1 kHz. The results are displayed above and are available via
the computer interfaces.
5.3.19 Rear Panel: RS232

Figure 5-36, RS232 Controls
These controls, shown in figure 5-36, set the parameters which control the RS232
communications port, as follows:
Baud rate
This control sets the baud rate to one of the following values:-
Baud Rate (bits per second) Baud Rate (bits per second)
75 1800
110 2000
134.5 2400
150 4800
300 9600
600 19200
1200 38400
Data bits
This control sets the data transmission to either 7 or 8 data bits
Parity
This control sets the data transmission to use no parity bit, or one bit with either even
