Removing the
pump unit
The pump unit comprises the impeller (230.1), fluidisator (230.2), shaft
(
211), bearing assemblies, sealing unit, bearing housing (330), bearing
covers (
360.1 , 360.2) and the casing cover (161).
Remove the pump unit according to the following table:
Step Activity
1 Remove dilution water connection degassing line (Abb. 7-4)
2 Remove measurement connection degassing line (Abb. 7-4)
3 Remove dilution water connection degassing chamber
(
Abb. 7-4)
4 Remove degassing line and control valve (Abb. 7-4)
5 Remove sealing water connection
6 Remove hexagon nuts (920.5) and washers(554.5) at spiral
casing (
102) (Abb. 7-5).
7 Dismantle fastening screws at foundation frame.
8 Detach pump unit from spiral casing (102) using pre-mounted
push off screws (
Abb. 7-5).
9 Raise pump unit according to Fig. 7-6 and place on a suitable
support.
