Installing the
pump unit
Proceed according to the following table when installing the pump unit:
Step Activity
1 Clean the sealing surfaces of the bearing housing (350) and
the spiral casing (
102).
2 Lift pump unit into place beside the spiral casing (102)
according to
Fig. 7-6
3 Place washers (554.5) on locking screws (902.5) and tighten
hexagon nuts (
920.5) towards spiral casing (102).
For torques, see Tab. 7-5
4 Tighten fastening screws to secure pump unit to foundation
frame.

5 Mount sealing water connections.
6 Mount degassing line and control valve (Abb. 7-4)
7 Mount dilution water connection degassing chamber

8 Mount measurement connection degassing line (Abb. 7-4)
9 Mount dilution water connection degassing line (Abb. 7-4)
10 Assemble the coupling according to the instructions issued by
the coupling manufacturer.
