C Technical Specification
The properties specified in this chapter apply to all Anybus CompactCom M40 modules unless
otherwise stated. Any deviations from what is stated in this chapter is specified separately in each
network appendix.
C.1 Environmental
Operating temperature
Modules with plastic housing: -40 to 70°C (-40 to 158°F)
Modules without plastic housing: -40 to 85°C (-40 to 185°F)
(Tests performed according to SS-EN 60068-2-1:2007 and SS-EN 60068-2-2:2008)
Storage temperature
Active and passive modules: -40 to 85°C (-40 to 185°F)
(Tests performed according to SS-EN 60068-2-1:2007 and SS-EN 60068-2-2:2008)
Humidity
Active modules: 5 to 95% noncondensing
(Tests performed according to SS-EN 60068-2-30:2006 and SS-EN 60068-2-78:2001)
C.2 Shock and Vibration
Shock test, operating IEC 68-2-27 half-sine 30g, 11 ms, 3 positive and 3 negative shocks in
each of three mutually perpendicular directions.
Shock test, operating IEC 68-2-27 half-sine 50g, 11 ms, 3 positive and 3 negative shocks in
each of three mutually perpendicular directions.
Sinusoidal vibration, operating IEC 68-2-6 10-500 Hz, 0.35 mm, 5g, 1oct/min., 10 double-
sweep in each of three mutually perpendicular directions.
