7.4 Connection of an IS Functional Unit

F Lift off the deflector, the
H M12 nut and the two washers
for each point.
F Connection is made by a round
or rectangular lug. In this last
case, axis of the hole must be
20 mm max. from the upper
side de the lug.
Round lug connection
F Fit the lug which must hold firm
against the contact plate.
F Fit the flat washer
F Fit the Belleville washer
F Screw in and tighten the nut to
the indicated torque (18 mm
spanner).
F Clip on the deflector.

F Fit in place the spacer in
copper.
F Position and hold firm the
rectangular lug.
F Fit the flat washer.
F Fit the Belleville washer.
F Screw in and tighten the nut to

7.5 Connection of a PF or PFA Functional Unit
F The connecting point is to be
found below the fuse’s lower
support.
F Begin the connections by the
cable at the back.
F Proceed in the same way as for
the IS unit (§ 7.4).
F Remove the H M8 nut and the
two washers from each point.
