6. Navigate to Advanced > CPU Configuration. Set the following configurations:

a. Execute Disable Function to Enabled

b. Intel® Speed Step™ to Disabled

7. Navigate to Advanced > Onboard Device Configuration, and set the Lan Option

ROM to Enabled.

8. Navigate to the Exit tab, and select Exit and Save.

9. As the server reboots, press the Delete key to enter the BIOS Setup Utility.

10. Navigate to Boot > Boot Device Priority. Set the following configurations:

a. 1st Boot Device to the CD/DVD drive option

b. 2nd Boot Device to the hard drive option (e.g., WDC WR800JD)

c. 3rd Boot Device to the Ethernet option (e.g., IBA GE Slot 0200 v1228)

Note: Names will vary across different CD drives, hard drives, and Ethernet ROMs.

d. 4th Boot Device to Disabled

11. Navigate to the Exit tab, and select Exit and Save.

To configure BIOS version AIMB-562 Award, follow these steps:

1. Reboot the development workstation, and immediately press the Delete key as the system

boots to enter the BIOS Setup Utility.

2. Select Load Optimized Defaults.

3. Select Standard CMOS Features, and set the following configurations:

a. The system date and time using Greenwich Mean Time

b. Halt On to No Errors
