10.3 ACEStudio cold start procedure for Red Hat 7.X

To complete the ACEStudio cold start procedure for Red Hat 7.X, follow these steps:

1. Connect a monitor, keyboard, and mouse to the ACEStudio development workstation.

2. Insert the Telestra Studio Software Installation DVD into the drive, and wait for it to boot.

3. When the Telestra Studio welcome screen appears, press Enter to begin installing the soft-

ware. Wait 35–40 minutes for installation to complete.

4. Remove the Telestra Studio Software Installation DVD from the drive.

Note: The DVD does not automatically eject from the drive after completion.

5. To reboot the development workstation, do one of the following:

l Press Enter.

l Click Reboot.

l Press the Reset button on the front of the chassis.

Important: If the system hangs after reboot, press the Reset button.

6. Click the aceuser account.

7. Log into ACEStudio using the following default credentials:
