A-3 Memory Test (ACE software versions 4.10–4.30)
The following Memory Test procedure applies to the Red Hat 5.X operating system. To execute
the Memory Test, follow these steps:
1. Power on the development workstation.
2. Insert the Telestra ASTi Software Installation DVD, and reboot.
3. At the prompt, type memtest, and press Enter. Let the Memory Test run for an extended
period of time or over night, if possible.
4. The Memory Test will continue running indefinitely until manually stopped. To stop the
test, press Esc.
