OPERATION
Line Port Functions
The line port logic functions are START, STOP, ON, OFF, and READY,
and are normally used in conjunction with local machines, such as cart
machines, CD players, etc..
Start Logic Output
When the ON BUTTON is pressed the START output causes the machine
feeding the fader to start playing. If Fader Start is enabled for the mapped
source, moving the fader up from the full down position also activates the
START output.
Stop Logic Output
When the OFF BUTTON is pressed the STOP output causes the machine
feeding the fader to stop playing. If Fader Start is enabled for the mapped
source, moving the fader down to the full down position also activates the
STOP output.
ON LOGIC INPUT
The ON LOGIC INPUT allows the machine to turn the fader ON, just as
if the ON button had been pressed on the fader.
OFF Logic Input
The OFF LOGIC INPUT allows the machine to turn the fader OFF, just
as if the OFF button had been pressed on the fader.
Ready Logic Input
Some machines may provide a ready signal to indicate that an audio cut is
cued up and ready to be played. The machine’s ready output will control the
illumination of the OFF BUTTON.
